Coldplay - the band created history by delivering its biggest-ever concert in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. And I was one of them who witnessed it live!
But this blog isn’t just about how breathtaking the concert was. It’s not about the flawless execution, the electrifying energy, or even the surreal feeling of being part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This blog is about something deeper—the mysterious, almost magical way the universe works. It’s not just about a concert or a missed opportunity; it’s about trust, timing, and the unseen forces that align when we least expect them to.
More than anything, this blog is a reminder to myself—to believe even when things don’t go as planned, to hold on when hope starts slipping away, and to trust that sometimes, the universe has something even better in store.
For the longest time, attending a Coldplay concert had been my dream—a dream I had carried with me for over 10 years. I had followed their tour schedule, checked out their concerts in other cities, and wished I could be there. But every time, my finances held me back from traveling.
When I heard they were coming to India, my excitement knew no bounds. Like every die-hard Coldplay fan, I queued up on BookMyShow the moment ticket sales opened for their Mumbai concert. But luck wasn’t on my side. The tickets sold out before I could get mine. I was heartbroken—so much so that I even shed a few tears.
Just when I was trying to make peace with missing out, an unexpected announcement changed everything—Coldplay was adding another concert in Ahmedabad, just a two-hour drive from my home! My hope was reignited. I tried again, fingers crossed, heart pounding. But once more, I faced disappointment. The tickets were gone before I could secure mine.
After that second heartbreak, I stopped looking.
I told myself it wasn’t meant to be. I avoided checking updates, ignored social media posts about the concert, and convinced myself to move on. The dream that once felt so close now seemed completely out of reach.
But little did I know, the universe had its own plans.
Then, just a week before the concert, something unexpected happened.
On a Sunday morning bike ride, over a casual cup of tea, a fellow rider casually mentioned that Coldplay tickets were still available. My heart skipped a beat. After all the disappointment, here was a tiny flicker of hope reigniting.
I immediately asked about the price—it was manageable. Without hesitation, I reached out to a friend, and she was in. And just like that, against all odds, I had two tickets to Coldplay.
What followed was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. There were moments during the concert when I just paused, looked around, and felt like I had stepped into another world.
The sea of lights, the pulsating energy of 1.34 lakh people, the way every voice merged into one—it was surreal. For those few hours, nothing else mattered. It was just music, emotions, and a shared euphoria that felt almost otherworldly.
It wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience that transcended reality. A reminder of how powerful music can be, how it connects strangers, and how, sometimes, the universe conspires to give us exactly what we need—at just the right time.
I was in tears when they sang Yellow and The Scientist. The emotions, the music, the sheer magic of it all—it was overwhelming in the best way possible.
That day, that moment will forever be a beautiful memory that I will tell my grandkids about.
But more than anything, this experience strengthened something profound within me—a deeper, unwavering belief that things fall into place exactly when and how they are meant to.
For years, I had held onto this dream, trying to make it happen, only to be met with disappointment. I had almost given up, believing it wasn’t in my destiny. And yet, when I least expected it, when I had stopped chasing it so desperately, the opportunity found its way to me—effortlessly, naturally, and in the most unexpected way.
This experience wasn’t just about a concert. It was a reminder that life has a rhythm of its own, much like music. There are crescendos of excitement, pauses of uncertainty, and unexpected drops that leave us breathless. And through it all, the universe moves in its own mysterious yet perfect way—guiding us toward what is truly meant for us, even when we can’t see it yet.
So now, whenever I face setbacks, disappointments, or moments where things don’t go as planned, I remind myself of this night. Of how a dream I had almost let go of came back to me in a way I never saw coming. And that belief, that trust in the timing of things, makes all the difference.

As I sit here, wearing my Coldplay t-shirt and writing this blog, I can feel the goosebumps rising—not just from reliving the concert but from the overwhelming realization of how beautiful life truly is.
This experience has reinforced something I will carry with me forever: we can never stop believing in the timing of things.
Life has a way of surprising us, of aligning moments in ways we never expect. And when we least anticipate it, when we finally surrender to the flow, the universe steps in and delivers something even more magical than we could have planned.

It made me realize that sometimes, no matter how much we plan, push, or try to control things, there’s a greater force at work—one that aligns moments, people, and circumstances in ways we could never predict. What is meant for us will find its way to us, but only at the right time.
